Client Evaluations
I read The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, with a sense of shock and awe. The Girl who played with Fire left me wanting way more. Following reading the very first two books I saw the Swedish movies with english subtitles. They did amazing justice to the books and sanitized them a bit to minimize the shock element. I was not disappointed by this movie and was specially pleased with the English dubbing that relieved me of the distraction of reading subtitles. Action, adventure, intrigue, government conspiracies, suspense, nicely created characters, excellent plot.....it was an wonderful movie and the 2 1/2 hours flew by. My only regret is that Stieg Larsson died before completing the ten book series he had planned. I have heard that there is a fourth book and I really hope this is accurate. I will need yet another Lizbeth and Bloomquist fix.
Rapace brillantly brings out the character of Lisbeth Salander. She is the ideal actress for a element that I doubt countless could properly play. I loved it!
